Specialties
- Through photographic projects, I examine specific topics in depth. Topics have included Rural Wisconsin and Illinois Habitats, Historical Re-enactors of the 1760-1840 period; buildings and prairie of the decommissioned Badger Army Ammunition Plant; Tallgrass Prairie restoration and Controlled Prairie Burns
- Shoot and print in my “wet” darkroom B/W photographs
- To accompany my photographs, I research and write magazine articles, books, and narrative text labels
- Photograph color brochures
- Develop photographic exhibitions in conjunction with public and private institutions
- Offer tutorial in “wet” darkroom skills
- Offer workshops for young people to develop confidence in their ability to observe, analyse and organize their visual world through photographs
